ELKINGTON PARISH COUNCIL

There were no members of the public present.
33 APOLOGIES
Cllr Fry (ELDC) had sent his apologies and these were noted.
34 DECLARATIONS
There were none
35 MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD 9TH DECEMBER 2019
It was proposed, seconded and resolved that the Chairman sign the minutes of the meeting held 9th December 2019 as a correct record.
36 UPDATES ELDC/LCC
Cllr Fry had sent a brief update from ELDC member – Budget meeting due to be held 4th March at Tedder Hall, members of the public welcome, no cuts envisaged expect services to remain as at present, expect Cllr grants to remain at £1000. Possibly allocate funding to support Corporate Strategy, Market Town funds, target deprivation and carbon reduction initiatives. This was noted.
37 HIGHWAYS MATTERS UPDATE
There was no LCC member however, updates from “Fix my Street” advised that the road flooding near the A16 by pass had been “repaired”; some work seems to have taken place to the drain outside the Church as water appeared to flow away; Acthorpe Road had been reported.
38 NOTICE BOARD
No joy from the contractor asked to look at doors; Clerk asked Inspire community Projects based at Kenwick to take a look, also to ask Interskill at Louth.
39 FINANCE
a) Accounts for payment:
Clerks salary & PAYE (Jan/Feb/Mar £234.75
Clerks Expenses 19/20 year £ 9.04
It was proposed, seconded and resolved that these be paid.
b) Accounts to end of year
The Clerk had prepared income/expenditure sheet for the year 19/20 and expenditure to end of year was noted.
40 CORRESPONDENCE
CPRE Lincolnshire Branch has folded, National CPRE taking over Lincolnshire area.
41 PLANNING
There were no new applications
Decision Notice – N105/819/19 – Dwellings off Grimsby Road – Reserved Matters for dwellings conditionally approved (details of dpc/hardstandings to be approved; no boundary hedges to be removed; some plots no roof windows.
42 ANY OTHER MATTERS
WI thinking of doing a litter pick in Elkington. This was supported by the Parish Council.
Grounds contractor wished well following recent operation.
Broadband – down for Phase III in March.
43 DATE AND TIME OF NEXT MEETING
This was agreed as 19th May 2020 being Annual Parish Meeting and Annual Council Meeting.
