Welcome to Elkington Parish Council

Elkington village sits astride the main road from Louth to Ludford and then to Market Rasen.  

Predominantly a rural parish, within the confines of the main village there is a shop, church and Church Institute hall.

The next Council meeting is scheduled for 7th April 2026

 

 

  

Footpath clearing

LCC will be contacting all property owners bordering the footpath along the A631 and Church Lane to request that their hedges be cut back to allow access to the footpath for maintenance.  They suggest residents get together and have one contactor do them all.
