30 MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD 2ND SEPTEMBER 2025
It was resolved that the Chairman sign these as a correct record of that meeting.
31 UPDATES
The Clerk updated the Council on response from LCC Highways regarding Acthorpe Road. The Officer felt that overall the road was in good condition apart from two areas outside farmhouse and at the junction. As it was a Category 7 road and due to its remote nature no scheme of larger repair was planned for the immediate future, however the officer would continue to monitor it and respond to any Fix My Street reports.
It was agreed to write to Highways to advise that as the road was felt to be unsafe for heavy traffic, it should not be used as a through road if the A16 was closed in the Brackenbrough area as it has been in the past.

33 PROPOSALS TO CLEAR FOOTPATH
The Clerk had circulated email from LCC Officer regarding the requirement for private hedges to be cut back to allow them to do work to the footpath. This was noted.
